St. Vincent de Paul Society

WHO WE ARE:

In the tradition of its founder, Blessed Frederic Ozanam (1813-1853) and patron, St.
Vincent de Paul (1581-1660), the Society of St. Vincent de Paul is a Catholic lay
organization inspired by Gospel values. The Society leads women and men to join
together to grow spiritually by offering person-to-person service to those who are
needy and suffering.

The Society of St. Vincent de Paul offers an opportunity for stewardship. We invite
you to join the Society in spiritual growth, fellowship and works of charity:

Quietly and discreetly aiding needy families and individuals;

  • Personal visits to homes;
  • Seeking and serving the distressed;
  • Advocating for social justice; and
  • Growing spiritually through the gift of self to others

Our conference at St. Mary has been in existence since the 1930’s. We meet each
second and fourth Monday of the month at 5:00 pm in the Sisters of Mercy
Building. If you would like to learn about Vincentian life at St. Mary Parish, please
contact Mary Ann Craig at 251-591-7950 or ma-craig@comcast.net. For
